'what pleases me most is working closely with my customer to provide poignant and meaningful displays that convey exactly the right feeling or message'
Thatch Flowers is a true cottage industry, based in Litlington on the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire border, at my kitchen table flower studio.

I work with the best, long-lasting flowers, sourced wherever possible from British growers and as locally as possible, but I do love a good Dutch flower when it is just 'right' for the design. My priority is my customer, so I work to your specification!

I came to floristry following a career in London's art world, having studied art history at The Courtauld Institute of Art. I then sold Picassos and Delaunays for a Bond Street dealer, worked for top interior designers in some of London's most prestigious addresses, before returning to The Courtauld to work for eight years among centuries-old and modern masterpieces within the exquisite neo-classical architecture of Somerset House.

I learnt the art of floristry at Cambridge Flower School and now spend my days helping people mark the important occasions in their lives with my floral designs. Into everything I do I pour my knowledge of the history of design and appreciation for human artistic endeavour. But what pleases me most is working so closely with you, my wonderful customers, to provide poignant and meaningful displays that convey exactly the right feeling or message.
I can't wait to work with you! x
